From Deeva

This is where I will be sharing my art. It is a journey for me as I was always told I was shit at it and it turns out some people really like my stuff.

If you are interested in buying any of my pieces please email me on goddessdeeva@gmail.com

Prices are negotiable as I want art to be accessible to all and if a painting really moves you it should live with you.

Prints also available at http://Goddessdeeva.imagekind.com/ If you don't see what you want there then let me know and I will get it put on.

Original paintings available also at http://www.artsyhome.com/author/goddessdeeva

Kaliegh and Simon

Kaliegh is the woman I refer to as the wife. She is an amazing human being and I love her to bits. She is moving in with Simon and these are how I see them.
They will be going in their new flat and I am very excited about this. The stormy one is Simon as I see the sea in his eyes and the heart is Kaliegh.

Learning To Draw 2

This is my friend Kate. Kate is brilliant and cheeky and makes the sun come out for everyone even when it won't come out for her. She is the one I gave Beginnings to.

Learning To Draw

I was always told I was shit at drawing. Am learning slowly. This one is me playing with shading by getting a photo, playing with the saturation then drawing that. I used watercolour pencils so not a great idea to get it wet!

This is my friend Julia and is being sent to her in Barbados.

Vagina In Blue

Because not all vagina owners are girls. I am very much into smashing gender norms. They hold everyone back.

Playing With New Media

I am fast falling in love with tempera. It's really bloody versatile. This is a work in progress as I'm not yet happy with the water.

Walking

This one was done using up the leftover purple that my daughter person hadn't used when they finished a painting. I also used tempera and pound shop glitter paint.

This is a little one. A4 size canvass. I wanted to have a feeling of vastness and cosiness at the same time. It is for sale.

NOW SOLD.

Breathe

Three weeks ago I nearly died. I had a massive asthma attack and it was touch and go for a while. I wanted to paint this to represent both the oppressive feeling of not being able to breathe and the freedom once I could again. I grew up by the sea in Hastings and that has had a huge impact on my art and crafting and even my music choices and writing. The sea is very important to me so it is only right that I document my brush with death with her.

This is painted in tempera and is for sale.
