Inside Screaming

This one I painted while in a really dark place mentally. It is heavily inspired by Rothko's work and I am actually very proud of it. Though I was feeling very dark, looking at it now makes me very calm. This one is for sale.

Freedom

This one is also already sold though it is living on my wall until the new owner comes to collect it. I wanted to play with sea and sky and not have them be sea and sky colours. I love this and will be sad to see it go but it will free up some wall space!

Heather

This one is called Heather. I did it for a Scottish friend of mine and I wanted to use the memories of a trip to Scotland when I was 15. Acrylic with a big brush on this. I wanted to convey lots of space but also a sense of privacy.

Beginnings

This was my first painting and it gave me the encouragement to keep it up.
I gave this one away. Acrylic with iridescent medium on this with a touch of scraffito.
I called it Beginnings as it was my first painting and it felt like dawn to me. From the perspective of someone in a boat sneaking up on the house to start anew.
